April is Autism Awareness Month and there are a lot of great event going on around the country to help raise awareness. Here in Bowling Green there are the following events. If you know of any others, please let us know and we will add them to the list
Lifeskills run for Autism taking place on Saturday April 13th beginning at 8AM for the 4 mile run and 9AM for the 1 mile walk. 100% of Proceeds will go to the Kelly Autism Program! Check out the facebook page for more details: Facebook
There is a live videoconference on Friday, April 19th, at WKU South Campus, Room 115, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM. The topic is “Transition and Beyond for Youth and Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” The seminar is free except for those wanting CEUs. It’s $20 for 2.0 continuing education credits for Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling.
