United Cerebral Palsy (www.ucp.org) recently released “The Case for inclusion 2012,” its national review of services to people with intellectual disabilities. Kentucky was ranked 30th, largely based on the increases in adults receiving community-based since 2005 (2,543 in 2005 to 5,284 in 2011), when we were ranked 40th. There is always room for improvement, but we are encouraged by the progress.
